• ● Birth data (date, time, location): submitted for transit and electional calculations. Birth data is used only for computation and is not stored permanently unless you explicitly opt in.
• ● Payment information: processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full card details on our servers.
• ● Usage data: API request logs (endpoint, timestamp, credit cost) for billing and rate limiting.
• ● Referral data: the referring code, referring and referred account relationship, reward status, and a normalized email identifier used to prevent duplicate promotional rewards.

2. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. When you purchase credit packs, your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

3. How We Use Your Data

• ● To manage your account and API credit balance.
• ● To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.
• ● To attribute referrals, grant promotional credits, enforce reward limits, and prevent duplicate or self-referral abuse.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with Stripe for payment processing and with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the service.

5. Cookies

Electional uses first-party session cookies for authentication and a first-party referral cookie that retains a valid referral code for up to 30 days so it can be attributed when you create an account. These cookies do not track you across other websites. We may also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though authentication and referral attribution may then be unavailable.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. API request logs are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
