TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Service Description

Electional provides Swiss Ephemeris-powered API transit calculations and electional spellcasting scoring. The service is accessible via authenticated API endpoints and the web-based Transit Finder interface.

2. API Credits

• ● API credits are purchased in packs and are non-refundable.
• ● Purchased credits never expire.
• ●Each successful API request deducts credits according to the endpoint's published cost.
• ● There is no guaranteed uptime SLA at this time. We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. Acceptable Use

• ● You agree not to abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• ● Rate limits apply to all API endpoints. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
• ● Automated scraping, credential sharing, or reselling API access without authorization is prohibited.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

Transit calculations are powered by the Swiss Ephemeris library and are provided for informational and personal use purposes only. While the underlying ephemeris data is highly precise, Electional makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of astrological interpretations or electional scoring results. Calculations should not be used as the sole basis for important life decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

The Electional name, brand, scoring algorithms, and API design are the intellectual property of Electional. You retain ownership of the data you submit and the results you receive. You may use API results in your own applications, but you may not reverse-engineer the scoring algorithms or replicate the service for commercial redistribution.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Electional and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for API credits in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination.
