Descendant (DSC)

The Descendant is the ecliptic degree setting on the western horizon, opposite the Ascendant, and the cusp of the 7th house.

It represents partnership, marriage, open enemies, and how the self meets the other. Venus or Jupiter angular to the DSC at a solar return points to a year emphasizing relationships.
